The Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) will host the latest installment of the Annual PR Summit 2012 on April 27, at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi. With an exciting theme and esteemed panel of speakers, the event is poised to be one of the most important Indian communications-related events in the calendar year.
In an age of social media and rapidly moving news cycles – where every Twitter log-in has the potential to directly affect brand reputation – people expect instant, yet dialogue-driven communication. In the context of this dynamic environment where speed often triumphs, the PRCAI Summit 2012 has adopted ‘Need for Speed’ as its central theme. The focus on speed is linked to an age of impatience – and while this is undoubtedly driven in part by new technology – it is also the product of a society that expects results and information immediately.
Led by the Chief Guest, Chief Minister of Delhi, Sm. Sheila Dikshit, the summit will feature some of the most prominent names in the country. Amongst other distinguished participants, the summit will include Dr. Sanjaya Baru, Director for Geo-Economics and Strategy at The International Institute for Strategic Studies, Dilip Cherian, Co-Founder and Consulting Partner of Perfect Relations, R. Sukumar, Managing Editor of Mint, Santosh Desai, MD and CEO of Future Brands, and Sourav Majumdar, Editor in Chief of Entrepreneur.
